Carrie A. Nation Is Dead - 9 June 1911

It was in Renfrew's Record, dated 16 June 1911, that we read about Mrs. Carrie A. Nation, whose fame as a world-wide saloon smasher, breathed her last in the Evergreen hospital, Leavenworth, Kansas, Friday, June 9, 1911, aged about 66 years.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Moore. Carrie was born in Kentucky, moved to Jackson County, Missouri, where she grew up. She was married twice. Her first husband being Dr. Lloyd, who died in Holden, Missouri, and her last husband was Rev.
