Duchess of Weaselskin
Our weekend in Southwest Colorado Rockies has been snowy and it was still coming down with that white, fluffy snow in between the sun trying to break through the clouds this morning, but by afternoon we had sunshine. We measured the snow stump this morning at 8:45a.m. at 8-½ inches since last evenings accumulation. Nothing like New England's Nor'easter, though.
This Duchess Pug has had a bout with her hip displasia for the last few days. NW Okie is looking for some sort of brace to help support my hind legs so I don't have to drag them along. We are still searching for possibilities.
Meanwhile, NW Okie uses a long neck scarf as a sling to help support my back hind legs underneath me so I can get around and exercise my joints. This is the first day that I have felt like standing and walking on my left hind leg for little while. I still get a little lame and have to sit and rest for awhile, though. I am doing better than I was last Thursday and Friday, though.
Thank goodness for the help of your human beings, huh!
Good Night & Good Luck!
