I can not believe it is September, 2012, already! How time flies when you grow older . . . are we having fun yet? And College fantasy football has started already! NW Okie for the past couple of weeks has been holding LAST place pretty darn good. I told her she needed this Duchess Pug to do her picks, but . . . No! She won't have any part of that! We shall see, though!

It has been great weather up our way in Southwest Colorado as our afternoon monsoons have slowed down a bit. I see through the local newspaper in Northwest Oklahoma you all had some dry, dusty wind storms blow through Alva, Oklahoma around 2:39p.m., last Friday afternoon, making visibility on Oklahoma Blvd. & College Avenue hard to navigate through. Hope you get some rain soon for crops, pastures and ponds.

On a serious note . . . It has been over a year (8 Sep 2011) that President Obama unveiled the "American Jobs Act" -- nearly all of which is made up of ideas that have been supported by both Democrats and Republicans. The purpose of the "American Jobs Act" is simple: put more people back to work and put more money in the pockets of working Americans -- without adding a dime to the deficit.

BUT . . . Boehner and McConnell and the GOP congressional cronies have held up, killed the American Jobs Act for a year now. Tell the GOP, "Stop the Obstructionism!" Ask Boehner and his cronies, "Where are the jobs?" If they do not pass the American Jobs Act, we shall remember their obstructionism and they will be Voted out (fired).
