We are still having our afternoon and evening rains here is Southwest Colorado. I know those in the prairie of the heartlands and other states have seen their pastures and crops blistering in the heat of the early stages of the "Dog Days of Summer." It came early this year, didn't it?

Why humans call it the "dog days" of summer really baffles this Pug dog. What the hey! I hope that is not any derogatory thing against dogs. You know what happens to humans who mistreat dogs, don't you? Dogs have feelings, too! At least I know our humans around here treat Sadie and me with due respect.
