National Women Party 1922
The New York Tribune, dated 19 November 1922, in the Graphic Section, had a photograph of women at the desk of Susan B. Anthony, signing a new "Declaration of Independence."
This picture, taken at Washington, shows Mrs. O. H. P. Belmont, president of the National Woman's party, with Miss Alice Paul at the left. The desk was the property of Susan B. Anthony. The women have just signed a document declaring themselves for "equal rights" legislation for women.
