Choclate Gravy...

"Hello, I was researching the history of Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits and found your site. We had Chocolate and Biscuits for Christmas, as we have every year since I was a child. My grandfather's mother made it for their family every Saturday when he was growing up in Tennessee. Now it is a special once-a-year treat that I make for my grandparents on Christmas. We live on the West Coast and no one out here has heard of it. It sounds very decadent and strange to folks out here! Good to know it has a long history to Southern hill folks. It sure is tasty.
