Greetings From SW Colorado Bear
Howdy, folks! My Pug Friend, Duchess, let me take over her column this week. Yes! I know the newsletter is later than the normal weekly published date for The OkieLegacy Weekly Tabloid. As for the photo on the left, that is me, the SW Colorado neighborhood bear rubbing his backside on the hanging pole of the birdfeeder.
NW Okie & David were on the road Sunday of this week to Scottsdale, Arizona on personal business. The WiFi access we have around here has been "on-again off-again" at times and NW Okie has had trouble connecting to the web to publish this week's newsletter. Thanks for your patience while we work through these last few days.
As I said earlier, I am their neighborhood SW Colorado bear that catapulted into their backyard on Monday, June 8, 2009, to raid this perfectly good hanging wildbird feeder. As for the birdfeeder, the only thing I found of interest was that it made a great back rub thingy and a marvelous sling-slot type using the feeder as a projectile. I completely demolished the feeder as it hit the slops of the hill, bounced downward and cracked up on decent.
I think NW Okie is letting me work off the replacement of the damaged bird feeder that I demolished last week.
Duchess says to tell you thanks for having patience for her NW Okie while they are on the road to Scottsdale, Arizona on personal business. That and on-again off-again WiFi connection is why this week's newsletter is running a few days late. It will be short this week!
Did you realize that Arizona is just one of a few states that does NOT participate in "Daylight Savings Time?" BUT ... it is on Mountain Standard Time (MST).
