Turkeys In Alva OK (4/13/2009)

Jim says, "I'm attaching some photos of wild turkeys that pass back and forth through our yard. The groups range in size from a quartette of young bachelor toms to a whole mixed mob of between forty and fifty. It's strutting time and the young toms, especially, are strutting their stuff right now. I've learned to cluck a little to sooth their fears, and when I put feed on the ground I can get many to come within four or five feet of me."
