Jane Haddow was born 8 June 1840, Washington, OH, died 8 June 1881, Purdin, Linn, MO. John & Jane (Haddow) Louthan had the following children: Edwin Alonzo, Robert Hiram, Samuel Oscar, Louis Alvin, Lula Jane, George Perry.

John's 2nd wife, Mary Ann Hale, born 18 Oct. 1857, Triumph, LaSalle, IL; died 1 Aug. 1909, in chester, Major, OK; John and Mary Ann Hale were married 14 March 1883, in Grantsville, Linn, MO. John & Mary Ann had the following children: lena Jane, Sarah, Jessie Katie, Charles Harrison, John Cope, Pearl, Emilie Hale, Roy, Rosa may, Lillie Dell.
