Slow Summer Weekend

We do not have the heat and humidity that the citizens of Oklahoma and Kansas are feeling right now as they are soon to experience the "dog days" of summer.

With the dog days of summer comes rodeos! That reminds me... I need to pull together a full page ad for the Freedom rodeo program this year. I hope I still have time to get it in.

What with moving and settling in here, things have gotten pushed aside as we slowly make it through the remainder of July 2008.

Several of you have sent in names of the 1957 Neuman's boys choir picture we had last week. We thank you for that.

We hear that Oklahoma's gas prices have started to take a downward turn. Our gas prices in Bayfield, Colorado, meanwhile are hanging around $4.30.9 while Oklahoma is down below the $4 mark. Do you Okie's know how lucky you are?
