May, 1949 - Civil Service Announces Jobs With Air Force...

"The U. S. Civil Service Commission has announced an examination for filling vacancies in the position of instructor, airplane and engine mechanic at the entrance salaries of $2,974.80 and $3,727.20 per year. Employment will be with the department of the Air Force, Shepard Air Force base, Wichita Falls, Texas. Application forms may be obtained from the post office, from the executive secretary, U. S.
