Oklahoman To Sing National Anthem At Astro's Game

"Perry, Oklahoma's own John Malget is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at next Friday's (August 24th, 2007) Houston Astro's game and you can see it on the Fox Sports Network. For those who don't know: John is the son of Ann Malget and of David Malget, and grew up singing at the First Christian Church here in Perry, Oklahoma. He and his sister Sandy (and brother Ray) were best 'buddies" of my sons all the way through school. As a matter of fact, Sandy was my middle son's date for the Jr Sr Prom. She's now an attorney plus she also operates a re-cycled clothing business on the Perry Square (has just moved it to the building next to Jim Franklin's sculpture studio).
