On the Road To...

South Rim View of Grand Canyon -- Yep! NW Okie is still "on the road" -- west coast of California.

It may be Sunday evening when this weeks newsletter gets published. Meanwhile... Enjoy this digital photo on the left taken July 3, 2007 from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Arizona, as we continued our journey west towards Los Angeles/Newport Beach area in southern California.

We checkout of southern California around the 10th July and spend a couple of days touring the coastline towards Monterey, Camel, San Francisco and Napa, California to visit friends before cruising back East over Hoover Dam towards Henderson, Nevada to visit some more friends.

We know that this week's newsletter being a bit short and later than usual as we take a Summer break (vacation) to the California coast. Next week's OkieLegacy Ezine will also be published on a Sunday evening instead of Saturday.

Thanks for your patience and understanding while we take this much needed Summer break to see the western United States and beaches.
