Before this generation, details are sketchy, but some have said ancestors came from Scotland by way of Northern Ireland. As far as I know, I am the only blood-related male descendant of the POWELL-PARIS branch still with the PARIS name. My Grandfather had brothers who had no male children of their own (either married into families or adoptied sons).
