It All Began Here
This is what we woke up to this Wednesday morning, November 29, 2006. Sadie and NW Okie fed the waiting horses their morning supplemental rations, then they (horses, of course) galloped, trotted back down to the lower grass pasture for their grazing ritual. The snow didn't seem to bother the horses the least bit. From left to right, in the pasture: Nugget, Maggie and Doquoti (Dorthy).
The beginning of this week saw Winter making an early arrival through the Rockies and on into Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas before heading on East towards to New England.
Thursday Northwest Oklahomans were waking up to 4 inches of snow and more to blow in later this last Thursday morning. Sounds like the Central and Southern parts of Oklahoma ran into some icy weather before the snow started to fall. That ain't good!
