The Little Pug Horse...
by - Sadie Sadie
Ever heard of a Pug horse? Me neither! BUT... that doesn't mean there "ain't" any. We have one around this place here in southwest Colorado. Her name is Sadie! That's Me ... Sadie Sadie!
I want you to met my dining buddy, a year-old dun quarterhorse, named Maggie. Yep! around this place we have dining buddies. Trigger dines with Quoti -- I dine with Maggie, Quoti, and Trigger. Trigger also dines with Maggie. About the only two that don't share the same food trough is Quoti and Maggie. Quoti, the three year-old mare pins her ears back when Maggie gets to close to her food.
I follow NW Okie out to the pasture every morning at feeding time. I don't chase the horses or bite their ankles or tails. All I do is mosy, mingle and meander with my buddies in the big pasture. They just sniff my backside and NW Okie is nearby with her "carrot stick" to protect my little backside ... just in case of
trampling hoofs.
I have heard it told that, "Sadie will eat anything with anybody at anytime, anywhere, anyhow ... very democratic." Yep! That's me! Democrat...ic Pug horse! There should be (and probably are) more Democrats out there!
