Former Oklahoman...

"My name is Lynda and I am from Oklahoma. Born in Shawnee in 1941. My mother and her family are from the Brittain area. I have lived in Oregon since 1960, but the older I get, the more I think about my home state. My husbands grandmother is from the Slapout area of Oklahoma. His gr-grandparents are buried there. I have grandparents buried in Oklahoma City and Shawnee. So my roots are deep in Oklahoma. I am researching both of our families. I would love to get your newsletter and thanks in advance.
