The Okie Legacy...

We were curious to see if anyone out there has tried our "OkieLegacy Archive" Search? What interesting items have you found?

We have been slowly inputting the back issues of our ezine/newsletter archives into our database. We are up to Vol. 6, Iss. 15 to this date. All of Vol. 7 and it's issues have been added. Hopefully, we can finish up Vol. 6 in a few weeks -- then start inputting Vol. 5.

If you haven't already noticed under the "comments" of each feature, the OkieLegacy no longer shows links/hyperlinks to your email addresses on past and future comment submissions. We value you privacy from spammers harvesting your emails.

As a matter of fact... our OkieLegacy Subscriber mailing list is stored in a "MS Access" subscribers database on our website -- protected from unauthorized viewers.

When we publish our newsletter/ezine each Saturday, our subscriber database automatically sends an email to all subscribers on the mailing list via our email address.

We are still having trouble with those subscribers who have their email with "Pioneer (pldi.net) Internet." It seems "Pioneer" doesn't let any of our emails get through to our subscribers via our database mailing list using our. We have to send those emails out the "OLD" way ... with our "Aureate Groupmail" email software. One of these days we will get that problem worked out, also! Hopefully!
