Last Week's Memory Joggers...
Thanks to all who left comments in last week's ezine. We learned a lot!
For instance, we learned that Joel Glenn was a custodian at Shockley hall when it was a boys dorm and stayed with it after it became a girls dorm. Joel was also the first custodian at Oklahoma Hall, on Northwesetern's campus (Alva, Oklahoma) until that women's dorm closed.
From reading last week's comments concerning gas prices across America, it sounds like North Carolina's gas prices are hanging in there with our gas prices here in SW Colorado. AND... Oklahoma, you aren't the lowest gas prices out there. Oregon showed up with about 10-cents lower than yours. That does surprise this writer.
Did you know that the Runnymede Community in Harper County, Kansas had a Runnymede Depot? It now resides in the "Old Town" of Wichita, Kansas. We truely are inter-connected, aren't we!
