Wrought Iron Range Company Stove...

"I came across The Oakie Legacy when I searched the Web for information on a wrought iron range that is in our kitchen.  It's a Home Comfort by the Wrought Iron Range Company.  We inherited the range when we bought our house 4-years ago.  It is so large and heavy that I think the house was built around it!  I would love to know when it was built.  I tried to access the two Web links in your article but neither of them worked.  I gather that the cookbook has pictures of the various models of ranges. Would you mind if I sent you a picture of our range?  I will mail you a photo of the range, since I don't have a scanner.  Our range is square in shape, without the top unit of the later models.  The only one of the pictures to match it is the original range from 1870.
