I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date... as usual! This last week does NOT have enough hours in the days. AND... we loose an hour this weekend with Daylight Savings Time. April is here and so are five new little stud colts in our neck of the woods. I want to introduce you to Sofie and her 2004 stud colt that made itself known earlier this week. I was in horse heaven the day I found this colt out in the pasture. You see... Sofie let me near enough to pet on her and she let me kneel down and stroke her colt on his body and head area. WOW! What a treat for this writer. Thanks, Sofie, for trusting in me! Click Sofie's photo for a larger view.

Besides taking pictures of the new colts this week, I finally got to ride my 3-year-old mare (Cassie). She is a gentle, calm thing. I'm told she is a walking horse. NOW... I just need some riding experience, practice of my own.
