Where did July 2015 scamper go? David and I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary, 30 July 2015 (1969-2015). We have had our ups and downs, but nothing too serious that we could not work through. Thanks, David, for some great years, putting up with this independent NW Okie.

Woof! Woof! Did you see the "Blue Moon" a few days ago, 31 July 2015? NW Okie snapped this view of the "Blue Moon" while we were down in Houston this last weekend at 11 o'clock PM. But it wasn't at midnight, and it wasn't blue.

1952 Democratic National Convention Oklahoma Delegation

Convention included the following. But ... Delegates may be incomplete.

We did find out that Marion S. Monfort, of Alva, Woods County, Oklahoma, a Democrat, was alternate delegate to Democratic National Convention, in 1952. Does anyone knowledgeable about politics remember any stories of Marion S. Monfort campaigning for State Senator in 1952 against a Woodward man, W. P. Williams, and what year that was?
