Walking With Sadie

We hear that NW Okie should be coming this way next weekend. Woof! Woof! Its about time. This Sadie Pug needs someone's lap to curl up in during these Winter months in southwest Colorado.

Here are a couple of photos ... one taken at the north end of Vallecito Reservoir in southwest Colorado (on the left); the other taken in northwest Oklahoma (Alva). (Alva photograph is on the right, above.

Did you know one hundred years ago in Oklahoma there was a legislative bill to be voted on that would prohibit the exhibition of any picture in which there is shown anything that is violation of law? I don't believe it passed, but not quite sure on that part of it, though. You can read that 1915 news article in this week's newsletter.

Oklahoma's 2015 Legislative bills are about to come before the State legislature. We hear some of them are about (or more ridiculous) than some they tried to pass in 1915.
