Walking With Sadie

Sunday though Monday brought more cool, cloudy rain to our neck of the woods (or forest) in these here mountains of Southwest Colorado.

Monday morning when we awoke we had over an inch of rain and the mountaintops at the higher elevations had a dusting of light snow. My humans had to bring in some wood and start a fire in the fireplace to knock the chill off inside.

The digital image on the left is a picture, looking north up the county road from us with a view of the snowcapped mountains.

This Sadie Pug loves the cool weather. It really energizes me every time I go outside and come back in. I'm like the energizer bunny that has been wound up, going all over the place. I can't wait for the snow to fall at our 8,000 ft elevation. That gets me more energized.

NW Okie wanted me to let you know that she has remade some of her photographs into sketches, placing them in a folder (NW Okie's Sketches) over at her Flickr - NW Okie account.
