NW Okie's Journey

It is coming upon a couple weeks since the mastopexy on left breast, and the silicon implant in the right breast was done at the Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas, on an outpatient status. Everything went well, and I am recovering nicely, in my first year remission of Breast Cancer.

The image on the right shows a view of Bricktown with the highest building, Devon Energy, in the background. Remember when Kerr-Magee building was the tallest building?

We went on the road back to Southwest Colorado, last Monday, St. Patty's Day. We decided the northern route through Ft. Worth/Dallas and Oklahoma this time around. Monday evening found us spending the night in Bricktown, downtown Oklahoma City, with view of the Chickasha Bricktown Ballpark from our hotel room, and eating a late dinner at Mickey Mantle's restaurant.

Tuesday and Wednesday found us up in Northwest Oklahoma checking on some old friends before we headed home to southwest Colorado Rockies on Thursday morning, spending the night at Walsenberg, CO, and heading west along Hwy 160 to Bayfield, CO Friday morning.

Thanks for the Affordable Care Act, Medicare and my UnitedHealthcare Supplemental.

Good Night, Good Luck! We shall overcome and remain strong!   |  View or Add Comments (0 Comments)   |   Receive updates ( subscribers)  |   Unsubscribe
