1938 NSTC Ranger Album

1938 Northwestern State Teachers College (NSTC) Ranger Album... Last week we mentioned the 1938 Northwestern State Teachers College Album that we ran across on the OKGenWeb, Woods County Query website that Fronia had scanned and left some information for others.

One of those items was... the 1938 Student & Faculty List of NSTC. If you click NSTC '38 List, you will find a "doc file" that we have put up on our website where we underlined a few names that appear in >Vada's (Paris) Diary of 1938. Also, there is a Senior from Freedom, Oklahoma by the name of Ina Warwick. We are not sure, but we think this is a niece or cousin of our Great-grandfather John R. Warwick. She may have been the one that took care of him when he had cancer back in the 1930s. If anyone from the Alva, Freedom or NW Oklahoma has any more information concerning Ina Warwick. Senior at NSTC, we would love to hear from you.

Back to Vada at NSTC... We found out that Vada Eileen Paris (Seiling, Oklahoma) was a sophomore that year -- belonged to the Home Economics club, Alpha Sigma Alpha. You may glance though those pages of the album at Vada's Diary - NSTC '38.

(Herren), Les Snyder, Buddy Cutter, John B. Doolin, Don Robinson, Kenneth Brown, Rosa Lee Montgomery, Jadeena Leeper, Durward P., Chester Mairy (died in accident in '38), Ruth Riecker, Elsie, Clara Munkris, Leota Leeper, Luella, Evelyn, Lydia, Sudie Fae, Wilma Greer, Vivian Chew, Margaret R., Don Warrick, Gladys, Katherine Wiebener, Erl Lene Cline, Mildred Strong (sic), Virgil McDaniels, Pauline Whitehead, Henry Sanders, Barbara Hedges, Maxine Brown, Everette Marie Fulmer, Beth Lou Heaton, Lolene Ellison. and Elsie Fae.
