Branson Family Farm - Burlington, OK

"Saw the picture of the boxcar made into a house in last week's ezine. I'm wondering about 2 mysterious boxcars on my family (Branson) "farm" near Burlington, OK. My cousin sent me the attached pictures of 2 boxcars and a windmill but no one knows how the boxcars got there nor when or why. The RR trackes USED to cut across the corner of the Branson farm but there are no longer any RR tracks there. So, how, when, and why did the boxcars settle on the property? Anyone have any ideas? I think it would be neat to use some of the boxcar wood to make memorabilia from the family but don't know anything about them? Can any of your readers shed some light? Thanks again." -- Karel
