Walking With Sadie

This past week has been melting a lot of our snow cover here at the north end of Vallecito Reservoir, north of Bayfield, Colorado. The temperatures have gotten up into the mid-fifties at time. The last few days we have felt a bit of slight chilly breeze, though, in the morning when NW Okie and I do I walking.

We have connected a usb webcam to our laptop using earthcam.com (earthcam.com seems to be a free membership service for webcams.) for yet another webcam view of our area. We only have it running during the daytime hours and shut it down at night. At times we have noticed the squirrels scampering between pines trees as the snow slowly melts on the ground.
