NW Okie's Journey

We headed back down to Houston this last Saturday from Bayfield, Colorado, via Albuquerque, New Mexico and turning east at El Paso, Texas and I10, arriving Monday afternoon while spending the night in San Antonio.

I was scheduled to do three expansion while down here in Houston, starting this last Tuesday, January 7. We ended up injecting 180cc of solution in the right breast expander. That leaves another visit next wednesday for the last injection. After the last injection, we let the expander stretch the skin over the right breast for three months, when the permanent implant gets put in right breast, and the left breast gets some reconstruction to match the right breast, which happens sometime in the Spring, Summer of 2014.

As to the Oncotype test, I am still waiting on the results to find out if my risk is high or low of cancer coming back. I am told the tests takes a few weeks and still has not come back. Still hoping for a good outcome ad low number, so do not have to undergo chemo.

We may head back towards Colorado around the 20 January, as everything is looking great and moving smoothly.
