NW Okie has been pulling out my puppy pictures lately, and came up with this 2004 photo of me and a statue pug. It looks just like me, Huh?

The monsoons and afternoon rains have arrived in southwest Colorado, but Vallecito Lake is really looking low, with the water being let out for the irrigation for farmers and ranchers.

In between our afternoon rains, NW Okie has been working on her wood sculpturing of the Eagle that she started three years ago. She has been chipping away at the pine log until a symbol of a head is starting to appear on the other side of the eagle.
