Obituary Donald Lee Benson (1919-1941)

Donald Lee Benson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elza Benson was born June 18, 1919 and departed this life December 2, 1941 at 10:20 p.m. at the age of 22 years, 5 months and 14 days.

Donald was a thoughtful, loving son and brother. Although he was not a member of any church he attended services at the Wesleyan Methodist church and Franklin Union Sunday school.

Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Harold and Jimmy, and five sisters: Alice, Joan, and Marion Jean of the home, Mrs. Luella Sternberger of Hardtner, Kans., and Mrs. Faye Hager of Wilmore, Kans.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George D. Haven of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Rosa McMurphy of Gueda Springs, Kans.
