Hackett Family Inquiry

Still more inquiries picked from the Vol. Iv issues of the OkieLegacy ezine that have been deleted from our website is this inquiry from Nicole Johnson who was doing a search on the Hackett family.

"I am just sort of searching my ancestors. I was raised by my Great Grandmother, Erma Hackett. She was married to James John Hackett of Enid, OK way back in 1922. I'm not sure, but I think W.E. Hackett might have been some relation (maybe a brother of James John). I used to exchange letters with my Great Uncle Paul Hackett. But, sadly, he passed away in 1986 (he was really a neat man and I'm sorry I never met him in person. I've lived my whole life in California and have never been to Oklahoma). And I think there may have been a Maybelle somewhere in there. If anything sounds familiar, I'd love to hear back from you. Erma passed away in 1988 and now that I am a mother, I'm trying to put some of the bits and pieces back together since my side of my family is a bit scattered. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks." -- Nicole Johnson, birth-name Denice Blair (kittypryde@earthlink.net)   |  View or Add Comments (2 Comments)   |   Receive updates ( subscribers)  |   Unsubscribe
