Magill from Ahoghill, Co. Antrim

My MAGILL line... I have it fairly well researched here in the US, but would like to find out more about my Irish ancestry.

My family of Hugh MAGILL (b. 1803), wife Elizabeth RAINEY (b. 1807), lived in the area of Ahoghill Galgorm Parks, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. They had, at least, the following children:

1.William John MAGILL, b. 1825, Baptized 1st Ballymena Pres. Church, married Elizabeth WALLACE. They had a daughter Isabella, b. abt. 1847 who died 1847 on the ship Berlin enroute to Philadelphia, PA. They settled in Philadelphia, PA where all their other children were born.

2. David MAGILL, emigrated to US, through Philadelphia, then New Orleans in abt. 1847. Settled and married in Swanwick, Perry Co., IL.

3. Probably a daughter, Elizabeth MAGILL, b. abt. 1823. She is found living with the family of William John MAGILL & Elizabeth (WALLACE) MAGILL in the 1850 Philadelphia, PA census.
