As a small child, I lived in one or two of those barracks and of course, the water tower will always be in my memories. CB Thompson - 2005-10-08 18:29:54 I remember the drug store well. John S.was in my high scool class of '59. He is now a neurosurgeon, and I think he was living in New Orleans. Lost track of him years ago. Steve Nicholson - 2005-10-08 18:21:22 Hi! I do remember the Schumachers (sp?) and their drug store. My mother took my sister and me in from time to time for a grape drink - we were not allowed to have CocaCola because of the suspect ingredients! 8-) The Schumachers were friends of my family and I have a quilt made for my mother by Mrs. Schumacher whom we called Aunt Julia.
