In Memory of Duchess Rose (2003-2013)

Forgot to mention ... Duchess was enamor or our youngest son, Rob, when he and Ruff (Schnauzer) would come to visit. Duchess would follow them around wherever they would go. I know it is a hard loss for Rob & Ruff, with Duchess' passing, but she's still here in our hearts as she watches over us from the mountain top.

Linda, your story of Duchess brought strong memories of our first dog, a German shepherd, also named Duchess. I'm not ready to say that a dog is "man's best friend", but dogs ARE close to that honor. Thanks for sharing your memories.
