My mother was Maxine Eckard ,her father was Isaac Eckard,Hami's son.He had several brothers Charles Pinkney,Oliver,can't remember them and a sister. Most of the Eckards are buried at Montery Cemetary. Actually the farm was nearby in Vanderpool Va. My mother said many Eckards were buried across the jackson river that flowed behind the farmhouse . I believe I have located the site were Hami and Job are buried. My sister has dark eyes and hair perhaps she got this from Hami. Most Eckards are blue eyed ,dark blond hair. That is about all I know

Kathy, i would like to know more about my great grandmother's siblings. My great grandmother was Signora Belle Gwin that married John Robert Warwick. They had three children with the third child dying at age one year in Oklahoma Territory. Their oldest child is my grandmother, constance estella Warwick who married Wm. J. McGill in Oklahoma. Not sure of when my great grandparents left Virginia and headed west to Oklahoma territory via Kansas, but know that their second child, Robert Lee Warwick was born in Monterey, VA in 1887. <br /><br />Would love to learn more about my Gwin/Eckard family.
