This Day In History (April 25)

I listened to the opening session of the UN on the radio, and as a 14 year old was excited by being in on the start of something so big. My ambition at the time was to be a soldier for the UN and save the world. Ah, youth! I don't believe the UN has lived up to my optimistic expectations so far.
