Happy Father's Day!

Came across the name Verlin Easterling, my father, in the 6/15/2008 THE OKIE LEGACY. It was listed as a participant in the 1935 NW banquet your Gene McGill attended. Dad was the senior class president. He, as G McGill, was a supporter of the Democratic Party and Platforms. Verlin Easterling was born in 1914 near Alene Oklahoma - his name appearing the flag wall along with his brother Ralph's and cousin Dean. The 'Easterling' whose first name was difficult to read was probably Dad's cousin. Dad died in January 1974. I am Lael Easterling and am currently anchored aboard PAINTED SKIES; our 41 foot sailboat on passage across the Pacific to Australia. Thank you for the memory inspiration.
