Anton (Tony) Schnitzer (1893-1955)

We remember Tony well. He was a wondeful person and friend. My husband Bethel worked at the Railway Ice Company when our oldest son was born. Back in those days ice wes delivered to your home. Every time we would walk into a business where Tony happened to be he would comment " That boy looks just like the ice man." We will never forget Tony.

I just remembered the name of packing company in the north part of Alva when I was a teenager in the 1960's. It was Shalloup Packing Co.
