CommentsVolume 12, Issue 18 - Feature #4962The Great Depression of 1930s I remember the Great Depression. We lived in a 3-story house on the middle floor, and were lucky because we didn't buy coal during winter. Always wore sweaters. My father immortalized himself by working 13-hour days to pay off his debts rather than go into bankruptcy. He had unlimited credit after that on just his signature.
