Whittet Family Origin & Connections

Try using Ancestry Guy. My fathers sister Jean worked for the WWCA who sent her all over the Planet including Moscow in the fifties and Selma in the sixties. She brought me a Che Guevara style beret and a set of drums when we lived on brook street in Wakefield MA and our Grandfather Charles Harris lived in Reading which became separated from us by the building of Route 128 and 28 through the farm of the Hopkins family and Bear Hill Country club. Since you last visited us my wife Deborah died in 2017 of cancer and my wife Irene in 2020 of the Covid. I now live in Union, ME and my kids in LA and Scotsdale AZ

Great great great Grandfather William Whittet married Margaret Helen Scott in the Parish of Kitens 1804. Great great Grandfather William Whittet b April 5, 1805 at Caitens with a sister Margaret Helen Whittet b 1807 was among the founders of Sarnia, Lambton County Ontario after marrying Margaret Drummond Cross the daughter of Henry Cross the Forester at Kinfauns Castle Perthshire on board ship c 1834. She was the mother of Great Grandfather Rowland Cross Whittet who married Sarah MacGregor Whittet who had a son Grandfather Rowland George Whittet who married Alma Shepherd. They had a daughter Sarah who married Earle E Silver. Earle had a daughter Jean b 1926 who married Bob Lopez My father was Sarah's brother Rowland MacGregor Whittet. my name is Guy R. Lopez, I live in Berlin, NH.Rowland C. Whittet is my maternal great grandfather. I'm also trying to find family history . Mother's maiden name was Silver and her father came from the Boston area. I've been able to go back to 1635 in Dunbarney, also Dron Perthshire scotland. previous ancestors settled in Ontario[ Ottawa area i think] Canada before migrating to new england. I've never done this its so interesting. hope i can find this page agaijn. will continue to search.
