The Little Boy

Red flowers and green stems - there was an educational movie on this subject which we were shown once in Staff College. The little boy was stymied by the fact that he wanted his flowers to be "green with red stems" and the teacher wanted him to conform to her thoughts. On a similar note, there was an educational movie about blue eyes vs brown eyes. The blue eyes were favored and became so violently dominant that the teacher had a hard time stopping the experiment. Are there any parallels in todays society? Politics?
