Easter Weekend Beginnings

I got another video of the Pine Siskin yesterday that I put up on my YouTube.com site at this URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=womZnAhsiXY video. There is also a video of a couple of chickadee's at the beginning of the video.

Have you looked at the Warbler's? There is some resemblance to one of the Warbler variety that I have been leaning towards. David leans more towards the Song Sparrow, though! Anyone else out there with an identity towards our mystery bird? Drop us a comment here!

Jim B. says, "I viewed your "bird feeder" video and I think your mystery bird is a pine siskin. At first I thought it was a fox sparrow because it appeared to be dark in color, but I think that was due to the lighting. Also, since it appears to be smaller than the juncos, I lean strongly toward the Pine Siskin ID. If you have a bird book, look it up and see what you think. The little juncos, by the way, are excellent weather indicators. They'll show up hours before bad (cold) weather hits and gather at the feeder in large numbers."
