Fascinating! I too am from Oklahoma. My 5th G-Grandparents are James Matthews Sr. & Mary McGill. They arrived here in 1718, went to Chester Co., PA, later split & became Lancaster Co. Went to Augusta Co. c. 1735. James purported brother, John, remained there. We went to Lunenburg, VA, then Rowan Co., NC, later became Iredell Co., my branch went to Stewart Co, TN, then Izard Co, AR and finally Seminole, OK. Glad to meet you.
