Paris, Hurt & Louthan Info

I saw the picture of John Cope Louthan, the grandfather of Gilbert Shirley Louthan. Most of what geneology I have seen of the Louthan is accurate. I have gone to www.rootsweb.com and checked there and the dates match up pretty good. Gilbert and Annie (McCallum) had another child named Betty Jean Louthan and she and her sister Shirleen passed away as children. I have no information on them, but would like to know when and where they were born and passed away and also buried. I'm trying to work up a Louthan Genealolgy for my Aunt Rosie (Jaide) Louthan and any information would be appreciated.

I am a Louthan, desending from Robert Hiram and Belle Cokerham. I have done some research on the Louthan family you mentioned. It would appear that you are right on the money. John Cope had a third son with his 1st wife, Jane Haddow. Son's name was Edwin (Eddie).
