CommentsVolume 10, Issue 21 - Feature #36121947 Case #3442 - W. B. Hull vs. State I would love to hear the real story that Gene told you at your grandfathers burial. When you get some free time would you write it down for me and email me at mcwagner.lk@gmail.com? Thanks for commenting and giving us another side to the story. Linda McGill Wagner - 2013-09-20 10:00:32 I'm Hulls' grandson. He was not convicted and served no time. I talked with Gene and the true store was never written. You had to like Gene he was very direct and I believe he thought Hull was justified in shooting. Men were different back then Birdie and Gene knew each other and Genes' mother help Hull buy land in the 30s. The families were friendly. I only wish others knew what Gene told me at my grandfathers burial the real story is better than the legend. Steve, I haven't been able to get any farther on this case and do not know if Hull actually served jail time or what happened in the case. If anyone out there knows something more, we would love to hear and share your information on this 1947 case #3442 with our readers. NW Okie - 2008-05-27 13:31:18 Hi Linda, Do you have any follow up on this case? Did he go to jail? Steve Steve Nicholson - 2008-05-27 13:08:54 Please submit your own comments below.
