Jan, you mean the "graupel" (frozen snow). I didn't know it existed either until I lived here in southwest Colorado. NW Okie - 2006-09-17 11:00:00 James, thanks for NWOSU's Homecoming date. I think I might be able to get back there for homecoming. Have to be in the Enid area on Nov. 8th for an appointment. Homecoming is later than years past, isn't it? NW Okie - 2006-09-17 10:57:22 NWOSU's Homecoming is November 4, 2006. Visit www.nwosu.edu/Homecmg/index.html for more information. Jim Bradley - 2006-09-17 00:38:06 I am a mountain/Colorado girl myself - love the crisp cool/cold air. I had a chance many many years ago to live at Snowmass/Aspen as a nanny. I went for the weekend & came back to Oklahoma. I didn't find Aspen that pleasing except for the grandeur of the beauty created by God. My favorite times of the year are Fall, Winter & Spring - not a summer person at all. I also enjoyed your story about the hail stuff - you have name for it but can't remember - that was quite interesting & I didn't know such a thing existed.
