CommentsVolume 8, Issue 3 - Feature #1195Oklahoma Gas Prices... IN McMINNVILLE, OR THIS PM WE GOT GAS FOR $2.09.9 A GAL. IT WAS A 76 station but most of the STATIONS ARE $2.11.9 A GAL. WHEN WE HAVE GONE TO PORTLAND OR SALEM THEY ARE HIGHER IN PRICE. WE GO TO PORTLAND TO DR. AND HOSP. AND SALEM TO VISIT FAMILY AND SHOPPING. WAS SO SUPRISED THAT OK. IS HIGHER THAN HERE. JOHN AND MARLENE JOHN AND MARLENE JACKMAN - 2006-01-21 22:28:28 North Carolina's gas prices reflect about the same as there in Oklahoma. This morning on my way to work, our corner station had regular at $2.29.9. Didn't go by there on the way home, but the wife filled up her Jeep at Sam's and the price there, which is usually 4 cents lower than our corner station, was $2.33.9. When will it hit $3.00 again? :( CB - 2006-01-21 21:24:28 Alva's gas prices may be higher than Enid, but... they are NOT higher than the gas prices in SW Colorado. Driving in Durango yesterday I noticed the prices ran from $2.329 to $2.359. In Bayfield, Colorado the unleaded gas was posted at $2.319 at the Conoco Station. AND... You could still get a bucket of fried chicken at Conoco for $9.99. I've never bought the fried chicken there... only the gas.

Rod, I like the altered bumper sticker, "I'm Lucky. I Live." NW Okie - 2006-01-21 21:17:13 TODAY (1-21-06) in Alva, OK, the Conoco station by the university is selling REGULAR gasoline for $2.249 a gallon...in Enid, OK, today, we gassed up at the Conoco station just east of St. Mary's on highway 412 for $2.049 a gallon of REG. The old bumper sticker "Lucky Me! I live in Alva" that was popular so many years ago certainly doesn't apply these days, so far as gas prices are concerned. I'm convinced that Alva, OK has the highest gas prices in the state! Nobody can quite understand why...any ideas about that?? Speaking of those old bumper stickers, one of my college friends took a pair of scissors to one before she put it on her car. It read: "Lucky Me! I Live."
