Early 1900s NW Oklahoma Territory Horse & Buggy Courtin'

My Grandparents farmed near Alva (Farris). My grandfather was a Horse trader and put out of business by advent of the automobile. Farmers in rural regions were early adaptors of the automobile because there was a clear financial benefit to saving time when going to town. It was no longer a all day or even two day event.
