Farry, Oklahoma History...
Hi, I'm a descendant of John Oliver Walker, the Grays, and the Mitchells. JO Walker was my great great grandfather. My great grand parents, Joel Andrew and Florence Lavinia Walker Mitchell. My father, Orland Lesley Gray was born to George Sherman and Nellie Jane Mitchel Gray Jan 1st 1921 on the Mitchell farm in Farry, Ok. I would love any pictures and information of my family and I have pictures and records from my great grandmother. I just found this site and is amazing since my twin aunt, Oreita Viola Gray Jackson, great granddaughter of John Oliver Walker just celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday, May 19, 2022. Hello, my great grandparents, Roscoe (Rex) and Mina Morland had a farm and their sons, Darold Dean, Alfred Doyle, and Bob Duane attended Farry. I would love to see any history on that. Alva has a facebook page. I will have to see if Farry does or if one can be created.

I lived at Farry from 1950 to 1956 on the school yard. My Father was Kermit Horn who was superintendent during those years.I am planning a trip later to Farry. I sure hope I can find it.I would love to see any pictures. Judith Horn Pixley

My name is Hazel (James) Herren. I am the grand daughter of Nancy & Willis James who established the post office & newspaper. my son found this on the internet; i do have an e-mail address and would like to find out whatever i can about the farry OK history.
I am trying to find directions to the old Farry High School. I remember going to the family farm (John and Gladys Smith)and going by the old school house after it burned. Any help can be sent to dandaspringer@zianet.com. My dad was Gerald Smith, who died in 1972
